Bella Riza is a filmmaker with an interest in experimental languages of documentary and pushing the boundary between visual art, anthropology and film. Bella has been working with Mesmer since 2011, as a film researcher, archivist, camera operator and film-maker. Her research has taken her into the vaults of the BFI to transfer 16mm film for the 50th anniversary of Oh! What a Lovely War, and onto set to film 90s Labour campaign films for The Absence of War.
