Epic sets out on a playful and experimental journey through 20th century history, while wondering if it is nostalgia or anger that drives our looking back.
Ian designed video for Foster & Dechery's devised touring production, a complex design fitting into a simple touring system, operable on the road by a crew of one, integrating video interviews, moving surfaces and archive material.
Ian William Galloway's video design was ingenious.
-The films are the most compelling, intimate element, especially as filtered through the performers' comments to flag up the gaps, imperfections and disappointments they contain.
