Ian William Galloway works with Headlong Theatre and director Dylan Tighe to create a camera setup and pre-recorded video for the Gate Theatre's production of Medea/Medea, winner of 2009's New DIrections award.
The show is performed entirely to video timecode, each stage setup a re-imagining of the seminal text. The background video runs as a single cue, the actors staying in time with the pre-recorded images. The show also features projection and four live cameras, operated by the cast.
