We created a mixture of hand drawn and original high definition underwater imagery to integrate tightly with George Tsypin's Design and Natasha Katz's Lighting. Through an innovative projection technique and the translucency of the set pieces, the imagery is seen on different surfaces from different angles entirely in focus to mimic the quality of light underwater.
The Little Mermaid opened on Broadway in January 2008.
