Mesmer started work on the first part of the Ring Cycle, 'Das Rheingold', in 2004 at the Royal Opera House, providing technical consulancy and realisation services, as well as working alongside Mic Pool to design the video element of the show. This was continued throughout 2005 and 2006 with the individual productions of 'Die Walkure', 'Siegfried' and 'Gotterdammerung', concluding at the opening of the Opera House's 2007 season, which featured all four parts of the cycle in repertory.
