Filmmaking & Broadcast

As filmmakers, animators, graphic artists and compositors we work across many visual fields, creating standalone films and promos as well as bespoke content for our designs. Many of Mesmer's associates and freelancers started out in these fields, and still work as directors, creative designers or filmmakers in their own right.

We also service the broadcast industy through our video and projection designs, working video installations for TV shows, adverts and films, where a wider knowledge of broadcast standards is required for the specific effects to work.

  • Invisible

    Transport Theatre company asked me to make a trailer for their forthcoming production, Invisible, using only 3 actors, a black back drop and some text.  Simple and dream like; some where between two worlds.

    Transport Theatre are a young company, also making films, such as The Drop, who aim to create new forms of work that promote an intercultural exchange.

  • World Cuppa

    Mesmer developed an LED wall installation for 'World Cuppa', ITV4's World Cup 2006 coverage. This involved content production as well as the studio installation.


  • GQ MEN & GLAMOUR WOMEN OF THE YEAR AWARDS

    GQ MOTY Awards has been an annual Mesmer event for 10 years. From the first ceremony at the Cafe de Paris to the current venue at the Royal Opera House it has become a major A list event. Mesmer have provided the video director, projection design and associated camera and technical services.

    Mesmer have supplied GQ for over 10 years and Glamour for 4 years.
