We have been involved in the design and development of projection media for 20 years, integrating video media into creative display and performance environments. As designers, we are fully involved in the many technical aspects of a production and can function as a complete video realisation service.

Our ongoing principle is to be fully involved in the design, image production and technical realisation of video and projection related activities. This includes video production (image acquisition, editing and animation), projection, photography, multimedia, lighting and control solutions.

  • Little Otik

    Vanishing Point in association with National Theatre of Scotland adaptation for the stage of Jan Svankmajer cult film, Little Otik.  Opening May 08.  Projection and Video design by Finn Ross.

  • Marguerite

    Video & Projection Design (Sven Ortel) for the world premiere of Boublil, Schoenberg and Legrand's new musical "Marguerite" at the Haymarket Theatre. Directed by Jonathan Kent. Opens in May 08

  • Rushes

     New piece for the Royal Ballet by Kim Brandstrup

  • Channel 4 Big4

    Re-design of the Channel 4 logo structure included a public video recording booth and playback to LCD screens built into the structure. Mesmer and Digital Antics provided a system for the recording process. 

  • Shun-Kin

    Our 6th project in a continuing collaboration with the one of the UK's leading contempory theatre companies, Complicite. Video and Projection deisgn by Finn Ross.

    Video Design for Jonathan Kent's 2nd production of his Haymarket Season.

  • The Little Mermaid

    Video and Projection Design (Sven Ortel) for Disney's major new musical, which opened on Broadway in January 2008. Orginal imagery was created and integrated into the stage design using innovative projection techniques

  • National Theatre Digital Archive

    Mesmer archive an example of each N.T. production on a 3 camera recording system. The archive is now viewable on a digital archive system which was designed by Mesmer at the new N.T. Studio.

  • Millhill School Event

    Bi-Centenary son et lumiere for Millhill School. Mesmer designed the show with photographer Marcus Tate and also supplied all production services for the 15 minute piece.

  • A Disappearing Number

    We provide the video and projection design for Complicite's acclaimed production, A Disappearing Number. The Winner of the Laurence Olivier Award 2008 for Best New Play is going to be touring world wide in 2008

  • Deuce

    Video and projection design (Sven Ortel) for a new play by Terrence McNally, directed by Michael Blakemore. Opening May 2007 on Broadway.

  • Rebecca

    Video design for the musical adaptation of Daphne du Maurier's famous novel turned into a Hitchcock movie in 1938. Directed by Francesca Zambello at the Raimund Theatre, Vienna.

  • The Woman In White

    Projection design, system design, video editing and animation for a fully projected cyc set by Bill Dudley.

News

"Rushes" is a new piece for the Royal Ballet by Kim Brandstrup opening on the 23rd of April featuring projections by Dick Straker.

San Francisco Ballet's 2009 Production of Swan Lake will feature projections by Mesmer's Sven Ortel.

"A Disappearing Number" has just won the Olivier award for best new play. It is also going on an extensive world tour during 2008.

The National Theatre Digital Archive has opened at the NT Studio. Performances, recorded & edited by Mesmer can be browsed and viewed on a system designed by Mesmer.
